Ahead of Dale’s Vanarama National League match against Wealdstone on Saturday (8th March), we’re offering a fantastic opportunity for families to engage with the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in an interactive and fun setting.
The event, held from 12-2pm, is completely free and also includes a match ticket to the game against The Stones (3pm kick-off).
There will be a number of STEM-related activities, where you can explore how science and technology are integral to football, as well as interactive demonstrations.
The event aligns with current STEM learning objectives in schools and offers families a hands-on opportunity to see how the principles of STEM come to life in real-world applications, especially in sports and technology. It is also a great way to encourage teamwork, innovation and problem solving.
Interested? Please register your interest by emailing community@rochdaleafc.co.uk with the subject STEM25.
We believe this will be an unforgettable experience for your families, blending the excitement of football with valuable learning opportunities. We look forward to seeing you!
