The Crown Oil Arena is just over two miles from junction 20 of the M62.
Enter OL11 5DR for Sat Navs.

BY RAIL

Rochdale train station is served by trains from Manchester and Leeds. It is around a 30 minute walk to the stadium from there. Taxis are available outside the station at a cost of around £8.

BY TRAM

Trams from Manchester City Centre run through to Rochdale Town Centre. Trams run from Manchester Victoria, as well as St Peter’s Square.

The Crown Oil Arena is around a 20
minute walk from Rochdale Town Centre.

Our Supporter and Disability Liaison Officer is Nicola Toolan, who is located in the Main Reception on matchdays and welcomes any interaction with fans.

We offer an Accessibility Passport to supporters who may require one. The passport aims to improve the matchday experience for supporters with disabilities.

SPECIAL OCCASION SHOUTOUT

 If you are a first time visitor at the Crown Oil Arena or are visiting for a special occasion, let us know and our matchday announcer will give you a special welcome over the PA system! We can also display your message on our scoreboard. Email commercial@rochdaleafc.co.uk with your message/photo ahead of a home game.

ADMISSION DETAILS

Home supporters have the option to sit or stand at the Crown Oil Arena. The David Kilpatrick Main Stand and Smith Metals Family Stand offer covered seating, whilst the Sandy Lane stand offers the option to stand. Turnstiles open an hour and a half before kick-off.

There are no cash turnstiles at the Crown Oil Arena. The quickest and easiest way to purchase tickets for a fixture is online.

Tickets remain available to buy online up until kick-off. You can save your e-ticket to your phone and scan it at the turnstiles. Supporters can also buy in-person matchday, from either the Club Shop or the Ticket Office, using cash or card.

RATCLIFFE
BAR

Join us before the game in our Ratcliffe Bar! It opens at midday on a Saturday matchday (3pm kick-off) and from 5pm on a midweek (7.45pm kick-off). Watch the early kick-off on TNT Sports (should a match be being broadcast). We will also be open after the full-time whistle.

FOOD &
DRINK

You’ll find food kiosks in the concourses around the ground, which sell a range of hot and cold food, as well as drinks. Our partners Scratch Catering have some delicious items on their menu! Make sure you get into the ground early to sample some of their food before the game. You can pay cash or card at the kiosks.

JUNIOR
ACTIVITIES

Rochdale AFC Community Trust run junior activities on our five-a-side pitch in the hour before the game. They are free to take part in – just turn up!

CLUB
SHOP

Visit the Club Shop at the Crown Oil Arena before the game to purchase your official merchandise and souvenirs. The shop is open from 10am on a Saturday matchday (3pm kick-off) and 4pm on a midweek matchday (7.45pm kick-off). It will reopen after full-time for a short time too.

PROGRAMME

The Voice of Spotland is back for the 2025/26 campaign! Priced at £3 for league games, it is vailable to purchase from the Club Shop.

HALF-TIME
DRAW

Our 50/50 half-time draw offers supporters the chance to win a big cash prize at every home game. At just £1 a ticket, you can win big with our first prize, or a £25 Club Shop voucher for our second prize.

DRUMS, BANNERS
& FLAGS

Drums are allowed into the ground, although this is reviewed on a match by match basis. If this policy changes, spectators will be notified via social media.

Banners are allowed in the home end. A fire safety certificate is required for all banners over 7ft x 3ft. All fire rating documents should be supplied before banners can enter the stadium. Approach a steward who will show the best place the banners can be placed. We do not allow any banner considered offensive to be put on display.

No flags on poles are allowed.

NO FLARES & PYROTECHNICS

The Club operate a strictly no tolerance policy towards flares and pyrotechnics of any kind inside the Crown Oil Arena.
