Waller, 22, has been in the Clarets academy since the age of 12 and penned his first professional deal in September 2022.
The shot-stopper has enjoyed previous loan spells at Lancaster City and Hyde United last season.
The club can also confirm that versatile player Matt Penney has joined on a non-contract basis.
Penney joins us after a two-year stint at Ipswich Town. The 26-year-old spent his youth career at Sheffield Wednesday with loan spells away including time at German side St.Pauli before signing for the Tractor Boys in 2021.
Waller will wear number 13 during his time at the Crown Oil Arena, with Penney taking number 27.

We would also like to wish both David Robson and Dan Sassi, who depart the club, all the best for the future. Robson made nine appearances in his two-month stay at Dale, whilst Sassi returns to his parent club Blackpool after the expiry of his loan deal.
