TVOS Preview | Shrewsbury Town (H)

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Tuesday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Shrewsbury Town.

TVOS has been completely revamped and redesigned for this season, but still contains many of its popular features – and new ones – to keep you entertained and informed before, during and after the match!

The programme starts with a front cover image of captain Ethan Ebanks-Landell, who had three seasons with Tuesday’s visitors prior to his move to Dale in 2022.

Ian Watson reflects on the home defeat to Crawley in his programme notes, after which we have a host of features, including:

STATS OF THE DAY – the numbers that matter ahead of the first midweek game of the season.

SCRUTATOR – the longest-serving columnist in football programmes is back with his review on the latest book published about Dale.

HALF-TIME QUIZ – an updated quiz page that tests your Dale and general footballing knowledge.

AFTER THEY WERE FAMOUS – a new feature which looks at players who appeared at Spotland after they had starred at the top levels of the game.

ON THIS DAY – previous games and Dale players connected to 1st September.

ACROSS THE WATER – Bray-based Dale fan Brian Quigley is back with his take on general football matters.

DALE ACTION – a selection of images from the pre-season friendlies against Farnham Town and FC Halifax Town.

I’LL BE YOUR SUBSTITUTE – a new article focusing on Dale substitutes, their records and impacts, as well as other notable substitute trivia.

TRAVELLER’S TALES – the familiar write-up of watching Dale on the road continues with the trip to Spain to face Al-Rayyan SC.

TVOS COVERS – supporter Dave Coupe continues his season-long odyssey looking at significant Dale programme covers.

THROUGH THE YEARS – what Dale were doing at this time 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50 Years Ago.

Visitors Shrewsbury Town get five pages of coverage, including ‘Bits & Bobs’, which is an off-beat look at facts and stats that connect both clubs.

All this and much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.

The programme will also be available online in the coming days.
