A crowd of 1,452 witnessed Dale’s 2-1 National League Cup victory over Burnley Under-21s, after taking part in pre-match activities on the Crown Oil Arena car park.
Beginning at 11am, there were plenty of activities for our junior supporters, including an inflatable assault course and some football mini games.
A BBQ provided by our catering partner Scratch kept fans fuelled, as did an ice cream van.
Free entry into the tie then followed, with goals from Ian Henderson and Levi Amantchi sealing all three points in our Group A opener.
