Vacancies | Matchday Staff

Rochdale Football Club are looking to recruit a number of casual staff to work on home First Team matchdays.

Positions that we are looking to fill include Turnstile Operators, Bar Staff and Hospitality Staff.

TURNSTILE OPERATORS

Working hours will be 1pm-3.30pm on weekend matchdays and 5.45pm-8.15pm for midweek matches. Once your shift is complete, operators will be allowed free admittance to the game. No previous experience is require and training is provided, but candidates must be aged 18 or over to apply.

BAR STAFF

The role includes preparing the bar areas for service, serving drinks and keeping the bar and front of house area clean and tidy.

HOSPITALITY STAFF

This includes working in the Club’s Hopsitality areas, serving beverages (including alcohol) and items to our guests.

SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Professional and proactive approach.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Must adhere to the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills.
  • The ability to work using your own initiative and as a member of a team.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and be resilient.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • We are committed to ensuring everyone who engages with the Club has a positive, safe and supportive experience. Staff are required to comply with all aspects of the Club Safeguarding Policies and arrangements, and to take personal responsibility and care to enable strong safeguarding practices to be embedded across the Club.
  • In roles serving alcohol, we can only accept candidates aged 18 and over.
