It’s been a week to remember for Dale, after a professional performance at Huddersfield Town last Saturday, the young lads played their first FA Youth Cup game of the season.
Buxton were the visitors to the Crown Oil Arena in a game Dale dominated and ran out 4-0 winners.
The draw for the Third Qualifying Round was made on Friday 5th October. Blyth Spartans are the visitors to the Crown Oil Arena.
Dale now face Shrewsbury in a re-arranged fixture in the Cup where we currently sit 3rd in the group, having played two, winning one and losing one.
The hosts have only played one of their cup games, losing narrowly at home to Wrexham. They come into the game after a 1-0 victory at Grimsby Town with Joe Morris netting the winner.
Supporters are free to attend this fixture.
