Ramsden was a teammate of Joe in the late 2000s, and the former right-back will undertake a mammoth task in late June to support his close friend.
“I am going to personally complete 37 hours of back-to-back classes on Friday June 27th until Sunday June 29th, to raise as much funds as possible for Joe’s family following his passing through cancer earlier this year,” commented Ramsden.
“Joe was a special man, and anyone who knows Joe will vouch that he was like no other. He’s been a special friend to me – something I will always treasure.”
