Matchday Guide For Our Home Opener

EFL action returns to the Crown Oil Arena this Saturday for the first time since 2023.

Dale welcome Crawley Town in our home opener, with over 4,000 tickets already sold.

Check out our Matchday Guide below, which details everything you need to know ahead of attending the fixture.

ADMISSION DETAILS

Tickets are on sale via our online ticketing provider Fanbase until kick-off, with supporters able to buy online 24/7 HERE, which is the easiest and quickest way to do so. Your ticket will be saved to your phone, which can then be scanned at the turnstiles.

Supporters may also buy in-person or over the phone (01706 644648, option one). Please note that, from this season, tickets cannot be purchased from the Club Shop on matchdays. The Main Stand Ticket Office will be open for on-the-day sales for all stands.

We would urge anyone buying in-person to do so as early as possible, in order to avoid queues in the build-up to kick-off. Turnstiles open from 1.30pm, and we are also asking supporters to arrive early in order to access the stadium, on what we expect to be a busy day.

GETTING TO THE GROUND

Check out our Visitor Guide which details how to get to the stadium by car, train, tram and bus.

Please note that, if travelling by car, ongoing roadworks in Rochdale are causing delays, particularly at Manchester Road/Bolton Road junction. Please allow extra time for your journey.

SEASON TICKET COLLECTION

Supporters who are yet to collect their Season Ticket can do so from 10am on Saturday, when the Ticket Office opens.

Please allow plenty of time to collect, as we expect queues to be busy in the build-up to kick-off, with match tickets also being sold from this point.

AWAY FANS

Away fans will be housed in the Willbutts Lane Stand for every game during the 26/27 season.

Crawley Town supporters can purchase tickets for the game HERE.

DALE ST KITCHEN

As announced earlier this week, our catering kiosks at the Crown Oil Arena have undergone a rebrand following significant investment.

The new menu will be available across all kiosks in the home stands and the Ratcliffe Bar. Click HERE to view the menu.

Staff across our kiosks and bars will be using our new payment system for the first time this weekend. As such, we are asking all supporters to show patience with our staff on what we expect to be a very busy matchday.

THE RATCLIFFE BAR / OUR SPOT / 1907 LOUNGE

The Ratcliffe and Dale Bars will both be open from midday on Saturday. The Dale St Kitchen in the Ratcliffe will also be open from this time.

The Bars will reopen post-match, with the food kiosk open for 30 minutes after full-time.

A reminder that there are no 1907 Lounge Passes available this season, due to the room being at capacity. All supporters are encouraged to use the newly refurbished Ratcliffe Bar ahead of and after the game.

Those supporters with a seasonal Lounge Pass can enter from 1pm, when the bar and food kiosk will also open from.

Our Spot Community Hub will be open from 1.30pm, the same time as turnstiles, and will serve until 15 minutes after half-time.

JUNIOR ACTIVITIES

Rochdale AFC Community Trust will be hosting activities for our younger supporters from 1pm-2.15pm on Saturday.

There will be an inflatable target on the five-a-side pitch, with activities such as face painting, arcade games, cards and more on the One Stop Bus, located behind the Smith Metals Family Stand.

Ahead of kick-off, there will be flag bearers from the Step Ahead Service at Rochdale Council, whilst participants from the Community Trust’s Transition HeadStart programme will form a guard of honour as the players enter the field.

At half-time, children from the Trust’s summer soccer schools will play a five-a-side match on the pitch.

CLUB SHOP

Our Club Shop, located behind the Family Stand, will be open from 10am, selling our 2026/27 home and away kits, along with much more.

The pop-up shop will also be located outside the Sandy Lane turnstiles, selling a selection of wearable items. Our Fan Engagement Officer, Ruby Loynd, will be situated here should supporters require any help.

The Club Shop will reopen again after full-time for a short while.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Our official matchday programme, The Voice Of Spotland, is back for the new season!

Zain Silcott-Duberry is the first cover star of the new season, and you can have a sneak preview of the edition HERE.

TVOS will be on sale around the ground and from the Club Shop for £3.

FLAG HANDOUTS

The Dale 1907 supporters group, in conjunction with the Club, have purchased 500 new hand waving flags for fans in the Smith Metals Family Stand.

Collect yours from the signed, yellow containers before the game to show your support of the lads throughout the game. Please make sure to return these after the match, using the yellow containers.

ROCH VALLEY RADIO HALF-TIME DRAW

We’re pleased to announce that Roch Valley Radio are sponsoring our Half-Time Draw for the 2026/27 season.

A 50-50 draw, the first prize remains as 50% of the takings, which reached as high as £1,000 last season. The second prize is a £25 Club Shop voucher.

Our sellers will be situated around the Crown Oil Arena before the game, with tickets priced at just £1.
