Kyron Gordon and Devante Rodney were forced to miss Tuesday’s win over Gateshead, following their FA Trophy starts against Altrincham on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Stockport County loanee Jid Okeke, who has been sidelined since last month’s game against Oldham Athletic, is likely to miss the remainder of the season.
Speaking after Tuesday’s game, McNulty commented:
“We’ve lost Kyron Gordon, who sustained an injury in the Altrincham game, for a reasonable amount of time. Devante Rodney also, we lose him for a reasonable amount of time too. Jid Okeke, we probably lose him for the season.
“It’s a triple hammer blow to lose three really good, significant players for us. They’re great characters also.
“That was the disappointing part of yesterday. Whilst everyone was riding high with the result in the FA Trophy and the draw – rightfully so because it’s exciting – there were things going on behind the scenes.
“But that’s what we’ve been dealt with. We pick up the baton and continue to drive forward as a group.”
