The Dames are on a mission to introduce more women to non-league football and will be attending 20 National League matches across the upcoming season.
Anne Morris, part of Altrincham FC’s investor group, is the driving force behind Match of the Dames. The group will be attending ten of the Robins’ home matches and ten away games, starting with the match at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday 16th August (12.30pm kick-off).
The initiative will give 400 women, who have never been to a National League football match before, the opportunity to attend a professional game during the 2025/26 season.
There will be a pre-match meet-up at Mill About, just a short walk from the Crown Oil Arena, before enjoying access to the 1907 Lounge and watching the game from the David Kilpatrick Main Stand. The event is completely free for those attending.
