The girls’ fortunes in the league have been faultless in the opening five, winning all and conceding just twice. It means Dale come into this one top of the table by four points, with Sunday’s hosts Wythenshawe Town in second place.
Last Sunday, Dale made a long-awaited return to league action as goals from Eleanor Seals and Erin Whyte secured a 2-1 victory over Altrincham.
This weekend’s opponents have also had a positive start to the campaign, losing just once in their six matches. They’ve already claimed big wins this season with 7-0 and 10-0 wins over Stockport County and Bury respectively.
Wythenshawe come into this one having drawn 1-1 at Salford City, with Martha Smart’s early goal cancelled out in stoppage time.
Supporters are free to attend the fixture, with-kick off at 2pm. The address is Ericstan Park, Timpson Rd, M23 9LL.
