Taking place at the Crown Oil Arena this week, from Monday 21st to Friday 25th July 2025, we’re aiming to get the ground ready ahead of the 2025/26 season and would welcome any support, whether you can spare a few hours or a full day (9am-5pm).
Day one saw a number of supporters freshen up the stadium with licks of paint, as well as deep cleaning a number of areas.
Please note that this is only open to people aged 14 and over with Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.
Throughout the week, we’ll be carrying out light maintenance and tidying jobs across the stadium, including things such as cleaning the back of the stands, repainting the steps and more.
If there is a strong turnout on the Friday afternoon, we are planning to open the bar as a reward for those volunteers. We are also hoping to entice some of the First Team squad to come down and help get stuck in with our volunteering tasks!
Snacks and refreshments will be available for all volunteers during the day in the Boardroom.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or just looking to support your local club, everyone is welcome. Even an hour of your time can make a difference.

We are encouraging local businesses, particularly those involved in the decorating/maintenance trades, to get involved by donating time, resources or staff. In return, participating businesses will receive various benefits such as promotion through our social media channels after the event, recognition on our website and in related posts.
It’s a great way to support a community club while gaining valuable local exposure.

OTHER VOLUNTEERING AT RAFC
Join us for the 25/26 season: Cover Squad.
We will also be using this time to recruit a pool of people who are interested in joining us to come and have a chat with us regarding the various volunteering needs throughout the club.
Of particular note is the need to create a squad of volunteers who can support at short notice to deploy or remove the pitch covers, which we plan to use extensively throughout the season.
