Dale’s official matchday programme, known as TVOS, was announced as the winner during the Gala Awards Evening at Celtic Manor Resort. The trophy was collected by Director Adam Saul (pictured).
TVOS has been edited and compiled for 24 years by Dale season ticket holder and Programme Editor Mark Wilbraham, winning numerous awards in that time.
Mark commented: “I am really pleased to win this award once more to add to several other accolades TVOS has received in the past.
“This was a more challenging season, with Dale’s FA Trophy run and playoff qualification, which increased the number of editions needed, as well as the different articles those issues needed to make them unique and specific to the competition.
“It’s now almost a month since the Southend programme was ‘signed off’ and as I do every year, I have a breather throughout the remainder of May before starting with a blank canvas that will soon be filled with next season’s pages.
“The challenge is to come up with new ideas and features to maintain our standards, but having a large programme collection and access to what other clubs across the leagues are producing gives me a good starting point for Dale-related material.
“If anyone has ideas for something they would like us to cover in TVOS, don’t hesitate to get in touch via rochdale_programme@hotmail.com.
“I would like to thank everyone responsible for putting TVOS together, in particular the other supporters who contribute, and we will strive to make next season’s programme even better.”
The club would like to issue a huge thank you to Mark and his team of volunteers for their unstinting work in producing another award-winning programme.
