THE OPPOSITION
Overview – Since 1992, Woking have contested 29 National League seasons, other than three years in the South division from 2009 to 2012 and again in 2018/19 when they bounced back straight away. Seven seasons back at the level has seen steady progress with a stellar season in 2022/23, finishing fourth. They lost 2-1 to Bromley in the eliminators, despite taking a 1-0 lead through Rohan Ince. This season has been mixed with four wins from their opening 15 games, without a home league win since 6th September. The only win coming at Kingfield was a thumping 5-0 win over Gateshead.
Manager – Neal Ardley – 53yo, appt December 2024, taking over with the side in 19th place, Ardley went nine unbeaten until defeat to York City. He guided Woking to a 15th-placed finish, now into his first full season.

PLAYED FOR BOTH
Three members of this season’s squad, Tarryn Allarakhia, Kevin Berkoe and Dan Moss have had spells with the Cardinals. We signed the latter during the course of the summer who made the switch from Woking after three seasons and over 100 appearances.
Taz appeared 20 times during the 2021/22 campaign before joining Wealdstone for a second stint, whereas Berkoe impressed on loan towards the end of 2023/24.

Only four other players have played for both which include Jimmy Keohane, Tahvon Campbell, Jon Boardman and Billy Knott.
