THE OPPOSITION
Overview – Since our first-ever visit to Brackley on matchday three, Gavin Cowan’s side have been steadily going about their business, currently occupying 17th place in the Enterprise National League table. This is despite having the joint-lowest scoring record in the division with just 18 goals netted alongside Braintree Town. From the 20th September to the 5th November they scored just two league goals which both came in 1-0 wins before five games without one. They did hit six in the Emirates FA Cup over Woking and then knocked out EFL side Notts County before defeat to Burton Albion in the second round. The Saints ended 2025 positively with a 1-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers followed by a first away win in four at Boston United.
