Our opponents have had to get through two matches to reach this stage after wins over Forest Green Rovers and Carlisle United, with Dale progressing through the semi-final stage.

Tickets are now on sale to Dale supporters via Wembley Stadium’s website. Dale fans will be housed in the East section of the stadium, with an initial allocation of 15,000 tickets for Level 1.

THE OPPOSITION
Overview – Boreham Wood’s life back in the Enterprise National League has been nothing short of spectacular. Luke Garrard has guided his side to back-to-back promotion finals, after beating Maidstone United. Their place has been confirmed for a number of weeks, having lost just three of their last 17 league matches following Dale’s 4-1 victory between the two back in February. Wood are the division’s second-highest scorers with 95 goals, unbeaten against the title winners York City with a draw and victory in early March. The side from Hertfordshire have been through two knockout rounds, with one-goal wins over Forest Green and Carlisle including two-in-two for Zak Brunt. Forward Matt Rush is level on goals with Mani Dieseruvwe on 26 goals, in his first full season with the club.

Ten days after our victory over Boreham Wood, Luke Garrard secured the services of Leon Ayinde on loan from Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old made 28 appearances in the National League for Dale last season, scoring twice, which is how many he has netted for the Wood so far in his short spell.
