The pitch has drained well since Saturday night, and with no rain forecast in the coming days, we believe the surface is, and will remain, in a playable condition for tomorrow night’s game against Solihull Moors.
We will communicate the opinion of the local referee to supporters as soon as possible.
We also plan to provide a more detailed update on the underlying issues affecting the drainage of the pitch, and our continued efforts to mitigate them, in due course.
UPDATE | The local referee has inspected the Crown Oil Arena pitch this afternoon and shares the opinion of the club that it is currently in a playable condition, and expects it to remain so, given the forecasted weather in the next 24 hours.
