Wide player Gordon and central defender Baptiste have joined Dale until the end of the season, from Colchester United and Middlesbrough, respectively.
20-year-old Baptiste progressed through the youth ranks at Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, before signing his first professional contract with Spurs in the summer of 2023.
He joined Boro last summer and is a regular in their Premier League 2 side, captaining them on a number of occasions.
The six-foot-four defender also made his professional debut in November, as a late substitute in his side’s 2-1 Championship win over Derby County.

23-year-old Gordon, who can operate out wide or in an advanced position, joined Crystal Palace at the age of eight and featured for England at Under-16 level.
He progressed through the ranks at Selhurst Park and signed professional terms with the Eagles in 2020.
Gordon’s first loan move saw him join Carlisle United, where he scored on his professional debut, before helping the Cumbrians to promotion from League Two, starting in their playoff final win over Stockport County.
Loan spells at Cambridge United and AFC Wimbledon came the following season, before a permanent move to Colchester in the summer of 2024, where he has made over 60 appearances for the U’s across two seasons.
