The 21-year-old joins us on an initial one-month loan from Championship side Sheffield United.
Buyabu, who made his debut for the Blades in May of last year says he is proud to represent the club.
“I have had previous teammates that have come to Rochdale and said nothing but good things about the club”, commented Buyabu.
“I’m looking forward to getting started here and to get my head down, focus and work hard for the team.
“Making my debut for Sheffield United was good, I just want to prove I’m worthy to play men’s football and what a great club in Rochdale that I can come and do that.
“I want to show the Rochdale fans what I can do, I like to get up and down the pitch, I want to get the fans up off their seats.”
After an impressive start to his career at Hornchurch FC, he signed for Sheffield United in 2021, signing a two and a half year contract.
He spent his youth career at Crystal Palace and joins Dale as his second loan spell with a previous stint in Scotland with Motherwell.
He will wear the number 30 shirt.
