The 20-year-old forward joins on a season-long loan deal from Championship side Derby County.
Brown, who recently made his international debut with Jamaica, commented:
“I’m happy it’s finally gone through, and I’m excited to show what I can do.
“I feel like I’ve built the trust with people I know already and it feels like a great place to come into.
“I want to try and do something amazing with the club this season.”
Head Coach Ian Watson added:
“We’re over the moon to get Dajaune’s deal done.
“He’s someone we’ve been chasing all summer and identified early on.
“He has an amazing attitude, will give us so many avenues and is a real coup for us.”
Brown progressed through the youth ranks at Derby, before signing his first professional deal with the club in 2023. The following season, Dajaune won Scholar of the Year, as he moved up from the Under-18 setup to the Under-23s and made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup in August 2023.
In January 2024, he was loaned out to National League side Gateshead and impressed, scoring ten goals in 22 appearances and winning the league’s Player of the Month award for March. His goal at Wembley in the FA Trophy final then helped The Heed to silverware.
Ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, he made his first loan move to the EFL with Port Vale, making 37 appearances for the League One side.
During the summer, the attacking player was called up for Jamaica’s Unity Cup campaign, making his debut in a win over India, having previously represented The Reggae Boyz at Under-23 level.
Brown will wear the number 39 shirt across his loan spell at the Crown Oil Arena.
Welcome, Dajaune!
