Dale enter the final seven games of the campaign full of confidence after last weekend’s 5-2 home win over Accrington Stanley meant for a positive return to action after a lengthy gameless run. Click HERE for the summary.
We now head to Blackpool who sit seventh in the standings and four points above Dale. The Tangerines grabbed an impressive win on the road on Saturday at rivals Preston North End thanks to goals from Shay Mannix and Gabriel Schluter in the second-half. They had gone three games winless beforehand with two draws and a defeat to Port Vale.
This will be our second meeting of the season after a Lancashire Youth Cup defeat at home in January, the Pools winning 1-0 that afternoon.
