The 19-year-old joins from Sky Bet Championship side Watford on a deal until the end of the season.
Adu-Poku joined fellow National League side Solihull Moors in October, making 13 appearances and starting his career well in the Midlands. He grabbed an assist and produced a Man of the Match performance on his debut against Barnet which they won 4-3. In November, he scored in a 6-0 win at Ebbsfleet United away from home.
The versatile player was then recalled by the Hornets on 25th January, having not played for the Moors since Boxing Day.
He first joined Watford in 2018 at the age of 12, impressing when on a trial period with the club and worked his way up the academy ranks until making his senior debut on 7th January 2023 in the Emirates FA Cup vs Reading. His first league appearance came two weeks later at Vicarage Road against Rotherham United.
He then spent time on loan to Southern League Central Division side King’s Langley before joining Maidstone United in March of last year where he made six appearances in the National League South.
Michael trained with Watford’s first team during the summer and earned himself a new three-year deal with the club in October, subsequently linking up with the Moors upon news of the deal.
Adu-Poku will take the number 11 during his time with us.
