Dale Women won their final league match of the season on Tuesday.
They were 2-1 winners over West Didsbury & Chorlton Women Reserves in the Greater Manchester Women’s Football League Premier Division.
After a strong start, only some fine saves from the West Didsbury goalkeeper kept Dale at bay early on, but goals from Shannon Gill and Hannah Murray secured all three points.
It secured a fifth-place finish for Dale, who now head into two cup finals in three days.
