The 24 teams that will make up the 2024/25 National League have been confirmed.
Following the non-league playoff finals this weekend, we now know our league opponents for next season.
There will be new and familiar foe for Dale to face, with six different opponents from last season.
Relegated from League Two are Forest Green Rovers and Sutton United, both of whom Dale have faced in recent years.
We will also be reunited with Yeovil Town and Boston United, who were regular opponents during the 2000s. Yeovil were National League South winners, whilst Boston were promoted via the National League North playoffs, beating Brackley Town 2-1 in the final on Saturday.
Tamworth romped to the National League North title, and we will meet The Lambs in league action for the first time. Our previous meetings came in the 2001/02 FA Cup, when Dale ran out 1-0 winners in a first-round replay.
National League South playoff winners Braintree Town will be new opponents. The Essex side were 4-3 winners over Worthing in extra time on Bank Holiday Monday.
Fixture release day and a start date for the 24/25 season are yet to be officially confirmed by the National League.
